Brewery make their version of this classic export ale unique by adding a special decoction cycle to their brew thus increasing the malty backbone to this once a year specialty. A generous amount of bittering hops balances well with the high roast, chocolate and black malt flavor. Viscosity is high and flavors improve as the ale warms in temperature.
