Counterpart - Ninth Life (Banana Nutter)

Imperial Stout conditioned on Banana Chips, Toasted Walnuts & Madagascar Vanilla Beans brewed in collaboration w/ Barncat Artisan Ales We conditioned this big chewy imperial stout base on dehydrated house toasted banana chips, house toasted walnuts and hand processed Madagascar vanilla beans. Despite the combined addition of more than 25lbs/bbl of banana chips and toasted walnuts, we don't get in your face flavours of either one. Instead, they combine for a warming baked good quality as well as an amplified viscosity and sweetness. These qualities are further complemented by flavours of brownie batter, vanilla icing, brown sugar, banana bread and a boozy warmth. This one is a treat.
