Abdij Sint-Trudo

The Abbey of Sint-Trudo in Metseren was founded in the 16th century and was located outside the city walls of Sint-Truiden. The estate was located on a waterfront property with the Melsterbeek to the west. The abbey consisted of a church, three manors with a brewery and a watermill on the Melsterbeek, the mill of Metsteren.
