VIF // A series of zesty beers on the theme of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse, perfectly suited to the little game of beer and food pairing // The clash of cultures in the same beer! The clash of cultures that unite in the same beer! Hence the presence of mustard to honour the Burgundians at VIF, and aperitif pretzels for the Alsatian side. The rather rich malt base is also an aromatic reminder of the pretzels, while the mustard seeds add spice and a touch of 'old-fashioned mustard'. In short, a Frenchman and an American make a German-inspired beer based on an American aperitif dish from Germany... it's almost a bit confusing!
