Beer description

Gose is an ancient German beer style that originated in the Lower Saxon town of Goslar. The oldest written mention of it comes from 1332 and in 1738 this beer first reached Leipzig, which soon became its main producer. It is a top-fermented wheat beer with the addition of salt and ground coriander, it is characterized by herbal and floral tones with a hint of salt and light acidity.
