Backcountry Brewing - A Pig And Elephant's DNA Just Won't Splice

A Lemon and Lime Sour was a conceptual creation from brewer Jimmy based on a popular Aussie dessert called a splice. We brewed this beer with wheat, oat and lactose to soften the mouthfeel and balance the acidity of the lime and lemon that the beer was later conditioned on. We then added a healthy dose of vanilla to round things out. A pig an elephant's DNA just won't splice, haven't you heard that song by lover boy?!
