Beer description
A powerfully malty approaching-sweet lager, the Doppelbock was originally brewed by Franciscan monks to get them through Lent. Matured for over 9 months this is a delightfully smooth drop which packs a bit of a punch. Originally produced in Einbeck, Germany this high gravity beer was, like many other beers, taken and perfected by the brewing houses of Bavaria. Winter release.
