Beer description
Both hoppy and with a pronounced bitterness, this amber beer is a success. There is little room for sugar in the recipe, a beer with character just waiting to be tasted. The Mutine Ambrée has a blond, slightly orange and cloudy colour. Its foam is beige, moderately abundant, persistent and quite dense. First of all, the nose is characterised by notes of cereals, malt, spices (pepper, ginger) and citrus fruits. When the beer is well aerated, notes of brown sugar, caramel and fruit (apricot, peach) are revealed. Then, in the mouth, it is relatively hoppy with a rather pronounced bitterness. There are slight fruity notes (apricots, exotic fruits) at the end of the mouth. Fairly unsweetened, it offers a light and sparkling texture. It is an ideal beer for the aperitif as well as an accompaniment to cheese.
