Birra Amarcord - Volpina

- Pinkish-white foam, quite compact. - Amber-coloured beer with ruby red reflections, clear. - A sweet and persistent caramel on the nose. Notes of strawberry and smoke complex the olfactory profile accompanied by a slight resinous scent. - Medium body, good effervescence. - On the palate both sweet caramel (toffee) and fresh, balsamic, long and thirst quenching bitterness are revealed and persistent. As time goes by, the bitter notes are transformed into strong hints of amaretto. - Aftertaste releases hints of dried fruit, spices among which stands out an almost pungent pepper. - A pleasantly refreshing beer, with a round body and oriented to smoky and spicy flavours. The sparkling effervescence makes it a pleasant and thirst-quenching beer even though it has a nice alcoholic body.
