Beer description

The second beer in the American Classic series is this time an American IPA. On tap we have a beer called Two Hearted Ale brewed by Bell's Brewery from the city of Kalamazoo, Michigan. The first version of Two Hearted debuted in the late 1980s as a Pale Ale brewed with English malt and Centennial hops grown in the state of Wisconsin. The now well-known and acclaimed Two Hearted appeared as a winter edition in 1997. It was introduced to the permanent range in 2003 and became Bell's best-selling beer in 2013. Two Hearted Ale has been ranked among the top beers in America by Zymurgy magazine, co-edited with the American Homebrewers Association (AHA), for many years. The beer is hopped with 100% Centennial hops, which gained popularity in the 1990s in the American craft beer market. So in American Classic #2 you will find intense citrus notes (grapefruit, orange peel), as well as pine, floral and spicy notes. The hops here are well balanced with the malt base, which makes the beer extremely drinkable. The label features one of the most influential American cars of all time, namely the 1965 Shelby GT350.
