Double dark ale is our attempt to brew from scratch a beer that rides the line between barleywine and imperial stout. This version was aged for 19 months in a blend of Willett rye, and 15 year 1792 Calumet Farms bourbon barrels. Brewed in honor of one of the most innovative, pioneering, and influential blade smiths in our modern era, Steve Schwarzer.
