Beer description
This unfiltered Lustful Maiden displays a deep chestnut color and creamy head. She is a dirty girl, rich and full bodied with notes of malt, caramel, roasted almonds, toffee and honey with a bit of lingering hop bitterness on the finish. Pairs well with grilled bratwurst, peppers and onions, barbecue, sharp and pungent cheeses, beef and other grilled meat. The Lustful Maiden is our most award winning 'home brewed' Belgian Dubbel recipe. It won the 1996 Virginia Dominions Cup as best Belgian. Also that year it took the silver medal in the Canadian Amateur Brewers Association. In 2012 this recipe won the Heavy Seas National Competition and was brewed at Clipper City and released to 19 states as The Letter of Marque.
