Beer description
We took an opportunity to buy a couple of different brandy barrels last summer from one of our barrel brokers. When the apple and the peach brandy barrels arrived, we smelled the candied fruit aromas and knew a lighter bodied beer would show the flavors and aromas well, but also would need a higher ABV to withstand the time in the barrel. We picked our Tripel In Still Water, and aged the beer for 8 months in the barrel to infuse the candied apple brandy aromas into the beer
