In the development of Wongraven Saison, Sigurd has teamed up with renowned brewmaster Kjetil Jikiun. For the initial phase, the beer is also being brewed at Jikiun’s microbrewery in Crete.
Wongraven Saison is dry, fresh, and fruity with a subtle spicy character. The beer is made with pilsner malt, wheat malt, and light caramel malt. Fine, complex bubbles, orange peel, and a relatively high alcohol content contribute to a refreshing and easy-to-drink, yet complex and intriguing taste experience.
It’s enjoyable on its own, but also a versatile companion to food. Try it with Easter lamb, summer barbecue, or rich fish like turbot or cod throughout the rest of the year
