Van Moll - Army of Darkness

You have those beers that you occasionally think back to with fondness. Army of Darkness is one such beer. We brewed this monstrous black IPA years ago in Haarlem with our friends from Jopen. And then a few months ago we thought: we can keep on musing about how good it was, but of course we can brew it again! Jopen travelled to our new Lighttown Brewers brewery for this collab.... and the result is quite something! Army of Darkness, despite its 10% alcohol, has become a fresh, drinkable black IPA. With hints of coffee and chocolate, but mainly a whole army of hop notes of red fruits like berries, strawberries and raspberries. And of course notes of citrus and tropical fruit are not missing. Let Army of Darkness overwhelm you!
