Beer description
As it Were is our idea of beer as it was. I think it's kind of like what maybe the olden day seasonal worker beers in parts of Europe, as it were, could have possibly tasted like. A dry beer made with malted barley and raw wheat, fermented in oak without temperature control by a mixture of yeasts and bacteria. Made bitter by noble, spicy Hallertauer Mittelfrüh and allowed to condition in bottle for a number of months.
