Beer description
Rich full bodied stout enhanced by the addition of liquorice to the boil. A nod to the Basset family’s Ashover roots.
Clear dark brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light light heavy malty, roasted, coffee. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.
