The fruit is flash frozen, the pressure is lowered, and the resulting ice is removed via sublimation. With the fruit's wild-ripened flavor preserved, this Astronaut Food is ready to be brewed. Without water, the freeze-dried fruit allow the brewers to achieve traditionally impossible flavor intensity in a natural way.
