Sawdust City Brewing Co. - Award of Excellence

A traditional German-style hefeweissbier made with 100% Canadian- grown ingredients. The colour is burnt gold with a dusty haziness. Aromas of spicy clove and banana on the nose lead right into the flavour. The same clove and banana are present but not overpowering with a slight tartness from the wheat balancing it out. A rich mouthfeel lends to a creaminess that’s balanced by the effervescence of the high carbonation.
