Refsvindinge Bryggeri - AZ Ale No. 16

Ale No 16 is a dark, top-fermented golden ale brewed with water, malt, hops and original English yeast. The beer has a malty flavour with a hint of nuts, a slightly roasted aroma and a pleasant sweetness. Ale No 16 has been brewed by Refsvindinge Bryggeri since 1995 and has won several awards. Among other things, Ale No 16 was voted Denmark's best beer in both 1997 and 2000. In 2000, it was also awarded 3rd place among the world's best beers. Ale No 16 can be enjoyed with freshly baked seed buns, Gouda cheese with walnuts or aged cured sausage. In 2001, due to a sharp increase in demand, a bottling agreement was signed between Bryggeriet Vestfyen and Refsvindinge Bryggeri.
