No matter what the next new trend may be, some things just stand the test of time! American Pale ale is one of these. Simple, crisp and balanced with a slight flavor of hops. This classic style is one that helped get the American Craft Beer movement going and will always be a fan favorite. While we are suckers for nostalgia, we are still experimental. So, when fascinating new ingredients arrive on the scene, we are gonna have some fun! Thus, we present to you our classically inspired but modernly interpreted American style Pale ale. Malt character is important in this style, so we created a simple yet oh so flavorful grist made of Pale and Munich malts, with just a touch of Crystal. This made for a soft and crisp backbone with flavors of graham cracker and fresh out of the oven bread. Hop wise, we divide the duties between Simcoe, Hallertau Blanc, and Cashmere. These beauties combine to present aromas of lime zest, melon, orange marmalade, and some candied grapefruit. All of this meld seamlessly into one delicious pint.
