Selfmade - Baker's Shard

Our new imperial pastry stout is dedicated to the Baker's Shard, a specially protected object from the Adventure Time cartoon universe. The Shard is a crystal that the heroes of the universe claim is "the purest source of sugar known". When brewing the variety, we used a lot of Belgian caramel, as well as a special pour from a pleiad of English speciality malts to achieve a high initial density and characteristic body. We managed to get a confectionery stout with hints of dried fruit, prunes and dark chocolate in the flavour, as well as biscuit and pastry in the aroma.
