Beer description
Pretium Doloris is an English Barley Wine. Basically, a brewing alternative to wine. Low carbonated, its 9.6% Alc.vol. is used to support complex aromas: Acacia, vanilla, wood, sugars and tannins. It is a beer that deserves to age because some of its aromas only melt and express themselves over time. 6 months is good, 1 year and more is more painful but better and that's the price to pay(*)!
