Banded Adaira

Dark crimson-violet with deep auburn hues, good clarity and a small, off-white head showing moderately-low retention. Very easygoing nose belies the spirits this beer came in contact with and even the barrel, showing no toast nor any aggressively boozy notes. Light Brett acids add yellow fruit, lime and leather, as hints of toffee and tart cherry deepen things while honey and biscuit brings up the rear, balancing nicely.
