With its deep golden colour and white, creamy foam, Toccadibò immediately reminds us of a golden strong ale.
On the nose, it is clean and dry with very pronounced alcoholic sensations that soon evaporate to let a sumptuous fruitiness of peach and apricot in syrup triumph, which is well balanced by aromatic hop notes reminiscent of chives.
On the palate, the announced warming sensation is well counteracted by a bold dryness that gives us a spicy, clean and sharp aftertaste that leads us, despite the high alcohol content, to immediately desire a second glass. The most attentive taster will not miss an unusual but very pleasant note of amaretto.
At the table, it can go perfectly with white meats but can also surprise and degrease elaborate game dishes, fight with fatty cheeses of long maturation and prove irresistible with fruit tarts in syrup or with macaroons.
Sehr aromatisches, ausgewogenes Golden Strong Ale!
