Garagiste Meadery - Barrel Aged Company Cobbler

Remember that time our friends at @calusabrewing came by to make a mead? It was delicious and it’s back.. Barrel Aged Company Cobbler features Blackberries from Europe, Raspberries from Mexico and Wild Blueberries from Canada combined with organic Brazilian Quince honey. Then finished on gluten free graham crackers and Brazilian Amburana staves. We kept it wild with a mix of Saccharomyces and non-Sacc strains. The mead then spent greater than a year in a privately selected New Riff Bourbon barrel we selected back in 20’. It emerges with a more dark fruity character, elements of cherry, a bit of micro oxidation and wonderfully rounded. Dangerously drinkable for its 15% ABV.
