Bishop Cider - Basil Strawberry

The crew loves playing with flavor profiles and this incredible cider is no different. They’ve played with basil in other ciders and def had more than a few strawberry forward ciders in our long list of variations. This one is really special in that a long timer of Bishop created this masterpiece as his first creation. And out the park it goes. Justin chose to blend the sweet and somewhat floral notes of basil and strawberry with our kickin apple base cider, and just the right amount each. You gotta know Justin to know this process took him 20 or 30 batches to get it right. He’s a perfectionist, like the rest of’em back there, but he likes [loves] to sample each batch... a lot, if you know what I mean. So back to the important stuff, you get the freshness of the strawberry paired perfectly with the subtitle sweetness of the basil, giving this cider a slightly sweet, floral flavor with a dry finish and lingering floral notes. Wonderful for a spring/summer cider. Awesome job Justin!
