Beer description
Matrioska is a Russian Imperial Stout matured in Ledaig whisky barrels for 5 months. Despite its high alcohol content (10%) it has an extraordinary drinkability obtained thanks to a high attenuation and an excellent balance between malty and bitterness (50 IBU).
It is produced with German base malts and special English malts such as Roasted Barley, Choccolate and Black. For hopping we have used a traditional English hops, Fuggle.
To the immediate nose the whisky, the wood and the hints of roasting.
The colour is impenetrable black with white foam.
