Baxbier - Butje

BAXBIER X THE CRYING RAPPERS Butje is a tropical and deliciously fresh 6.5% Juicy IPA. We could write a piece on the blend of barley malt, naked oats and fresh wheat. Or the genius blend of Bru-1, Krush and Sabro Cryp hops. But that's a buh-buh-bit for butties. Indeed, they write this about it themselves: Butbier, popularly known as ‘Butje’, has its origins in the small village of Garrelsweer, near the even smaller village of Winneweer. There, master brewer Hermanius Kaeckdorst put together a secret recipe in 1661, calling it ‘Buthbier’, after his grandfather Butherick Kaeckdorst. He described it in his monograph as ‘a fruity IPA beer, with frischen nose ende bright smaack’.
