Beer description

Aged for 4 months in an American oak whiskey barrel (from the Slyrs Distillery in Bavaria). Rich & complex with a large malt character, mild carbonation and dry finish. Reminiscent of an old ale or Scottish strong ale. Notes of caramel, toffee, sherry, oak, whiskey, toasty malts, followed by a warming presence of alcohol. Hops: warriors.
