Beer description
Bavaria is the home of wheat beer, and few beer styles are as closely tied to a single region. Breweries across the Free State have been brewing it for centuries, using time-honoured craft passed down through generations.
The beer in this bottle comes from Herrnbräu in Ingolstadt, the city where the Bavarian Purity Law was proclaimed in 1516. Brewed with a high share of wheat malt, it pours golden with a natural yeast haze and a fine, creamy head. On the nose and palate you’ll find the classic notes of banana and clove, rounded off with a hint of citrus. Crisp and refreshing, yet full-bodied.
A taste of Bavarian beer culture, ready to pour. Best enjoyed from a proper wheat beer glass, so the head can show off.
Cheers to Bavaria and the art of brewing!
