Beer description
Pours dark amber with short, lasting, off-white head. Medium bodied, good lacing, smoky and malty, with tastes of caramel, cookies, and burnt brown sugar. Aromas of flowers, orange peel and exotic fruits, dry finish. Leaves a fairly long bitter-sweet aftertaste with a touch of orange sourness. A very interesting, balanced and complex tripel, very well pared with the plate. I tried it by itself before the workshop , and it was fine. But the pairing revealed its complexity.
