Beer description
Citrusy-Wheaty-Floral: “Wit” means “white” in Dutch. The style originated in Hoegaarden (who-garden), Belgium, but
nearly went extinct in the 1950s. Witbier continues to whet our palates to this day thanks to
Pierre Celis, who saved the dying style with his Hoegaarden Witbier. Our Belgian Wit is
unfiltered, and made with unmalted wheat for a cloudy appearance and full mouthfeel.
Restrained amounts of coriander and bitter orange peel support the fruity Belgian yeast
character. Here’s to Pierre Celis
