Belgo Sapiens Brewers - Cheval Godet Tripel

Bottle that pours clear bright gold with a very nice reviving white head offering good retention and lacing. Spicy honey maltiness, slightly boozied cognac-like fruitiness, some golden pineapples without being tropical, tons of belgian spiciness, tingling astringent alcohol, just enough phenolic molecules. Healthy to moderate carbonation, medium body - oily; semi-sweet yet assertive woodsy-spicy finish.Just a tad linear (and unfortunately not so fresh) but well crafted tripel.
