Beer description
This is a somewhat curious beer – a smoked beer, without the use of smoked malt. A few weeks a year, peat-smoked whiskey is made at our brewery, and it puts a bit of a smoke flavor in the "system". Between two of these smoked brews, Budeien Peat was created. An imperial kveik, which with a hint of smoke becomes different and exciting. The fruitiness from the Norwegian kveik yeast goes well with the smoke character, and gives a greater depth and complexity of flavor and aroma.
