Saperlot - Bergamot Sour

Here, after some time, we released our third special. This time it is a sour beer with added fruit. We called it simply Bergamot Sour since bergamot, a fruit from the citrus family, was added. First, some information about what sour beer is. Sour beers, also known as "sour" beers, are a type of beer characterized by a sour taste that originates from the presence of lactic acids. This is achieved by fermentation using lactic acid bacteria or wild yeasts that produce these acids during the fermentation process. This is quite a scientific description, so we will just briefly say that beers are called sour because they are simply more sour than other beers. And what is that famous 🍋‍ bergamot 🍋‍? Bergamot is a fruit from the citrus family that originates from Southeast Asia, and today it is mainly grown in 🇮🇹Italy🇮🇹, especially in the Calabria region. 🍋‍Bergamot🍋‍ fruit is similar in shape and size to a lemon, but has an orange-yellow skin that is a little rougher and has a characteristic smell. 🍋‍Bergamot🍋‍ has many benefits and applications. Its essential oil is used in the production of perfumes and cosmetic products due to its refreshing and pleasant smell. It is also used in the preparation of tea, known as "Earl Grey", which has a specific aroma and taste of 🍋‍bergamot🍋‍. We used it as an additive in our beer, so our 🍋‍Bergamot Sour🍋‍ is actually classified as a fruity sour beer. It has a very interesting smell and taste and is very refreshing for this warm summer weather.
