Beer description
We aged some of last year’s Wee Heavy in 2nd use bourbon barrels for 9 months and the results are fantastic. An amped up version of the deep amber, heavy malt forward, winter warmer this one really packs a punch. It leads with aromas of bourbon, oak and toffee and its low carbonation and a hefty malt body, helps provide a rich mouthfeel that satisfies during the cooler winter months. Not cloying but with an alcohol warming that helps to make this one a slow sipper.
