Binjai Plan B

If you’re wondering why their Passionfruit IPA is named Plan B, read on. It began when Rahul’s friend suggested the name. They thought it was a continuation of naming from Set B, so they went with it. But when they Googled the name to find some inspiration for a label design, they learned it was a morning after contraceptive. Instead of looking for another name, they decided to roll with it and here they are. Plan B is a delightedly interesting IPA. It doesn’t have the usual heavy bitterness of an IPA, while the addition of passionfruit purée adds a delicate sweet, aroma and a bit of tartness on the palate. The inclusion of lactose lends itself to the mouthfeel of the beer, resulting in a well rounded IPA.
