If you’re thinking to yourself that Binjai Brew wouldn’t just release a straight up Witbier, you’re absolutely right. Their Witbier was made using leftover sourdough bread from Keong Saik Bakery and freshly zested orange peel. The sourdough bread results in a slightly tart flavour in the beer, while at the same time providing a well-rounded mouthfeel. Light and refreshing, this beer shows that you can reduce food waste and have a bit of fun at the same time.
