Beer description
Produced for the University of Udine (with our pride), it is an American Pale Ale (APA) characterised by an intense hop aroma which plays a decisive role in this style of beer.
The recipe was defined within the scope of the “impresa magistrale”, a project that led to the creation of two degree theses and two scientific publications.
The formulation includes, in addition to the malt produced by us, a quota of special malt produced with the University malthouse starting from barley grown in the region.
The aromas when tasting are citrus and tropical fruit.
In the mouth it is medium-bodied with pleasant resinous notes due to the hops and ends pleasantly bitter and refreshing.
