Birrificio Birranova - Primatia

Born as a Christmas beer to accompany the typical cartellate with fig vincotto, it has become a symbol of the brewery over the years. It is only brewed in October, when the artisanal fig cotto produced at the end of summer is at its peak organoleptically. Primatia, in fact, is an amber beer that harbours a secret: it has an all-Apulian heart, thanks to the use, among the ingredients, of Cotto di Fichi. A beer with character, in the glass it has a brilliant mahogany colour and a fine, compact, medium-persistent cappuccino foam. The nose is rich and intense, characterised by the sweet-sour notes of the cotto di fichi. The mouth is full and enveloping, with a harmonious balance of malt and hops, soft and warm. Long aftertaste. Goes well with braised meats, mature cheeses, dry pastries, Easter and Christmas cakes.
