Hops made exclusively with Saaz hops give the beer a noticeable and very pleasant bitterness and a herbaceous and spicy aroma typical of this hop variety. Compared to German Pils, the Bohemian variant has an aroma characterised by the yeast strain used there, which adds already rustic notes compared to the neutral perfection of German yeast.
