Beer description
PVK is an abbreviation for the word PEVAKH, the name associated with a primitive form of beer brewed by the Etruscans. It was made with rye.
PVK is brewed with 35% locally grown unmalted cereals (wheat, durum wheat, barley and oats) produced at the organic farm Lucignanello di Pienza in the Val d’Orcia.
It has a rich yellow color with a fine and persistent head. The nose is very fresh, with notes of cereals, white flowers and citrus. It has a good body with the center of the palate quite sweet, almost honey like. Refreshing in the finish with a slight balsamic touch. Very fresh and drinkable, especially due to a touch of bitterness.
Unfiltered, unpasteurized, fermented in the bottle and keg.
