Whiskey Hill - Black Is Beautiful

Russian Imperial Stout Aged on Roasted Hazelnut that stays fairly true to the base recipe given by Weathered Souls Brewing Co., with a few fun twists... First, we decided to age it on over a hundred pounds of Rosted Hazelnuts. Next, we turned up the percentage of flaked oats to give the Hazelnut addition more of a creamy, hazelnut spread-like flavor. Finallly, we boiled for 9.5 hours to achieve significant caramelization and improved viscosity.
