Sibeeria - Black Jack

Budějovický Budvar has over the past few years embraced the Czech craft beer movement in order to bring modern beer styles to wider audience. This summer they invited us to together brew something a bit stronger to warm the nation up by the onset of winter. Black Jack is a 21-plato imperial baltic porter brewed with six different malts in Sibeeria brewery and fermented with Budvar lager yeast. To make it more interesting, we added a pile of cocoa nibs and a pinch of red pepper. Dark as night with a soft fluffy head, this beer booms with chocolate that is enhanced with a hint of the fruitiness of the pepper. For 8% ABV it drinks surprisingly easily and after a few gulps leaves a light peppery tinkering on your lips
