Beer description
Black Ivory Coffee is among the world's most expensive coffees at 1k per #. Black Ivory Coffee is consumed by elephants in Thailand and collected from their waste.
When working with ingredients such as this, we brewed a base beer that would allow them to shine; a blank canvas, if you will. This stout base was brewed with that in mind and in collaboration with 3 Sons Brewing and then conditioned on a pound of Black Ivory Coffee & two pounds of Papua New Guinea vanilla beans. The result is a pure expression of both of these rare and expensive ingredients. Featuring big ripe berry notes, a sip of Black Tusk comes across like a fine cup of espresso with the silky smooth mouthfeel of a latte.
