The second new pale ale from Blech.Brut is the Cartagena. Like the Uyuni, Cartagena has an alcohol content of 5.5% vol. Alcohol content. Both beers were brewed and bottled at the Camba Old Factory in Gundelfingen. The label shows the beach and the sea of Cartagena, which is the port city on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Both Pale Ale's were fermented with the London Fog yeast, which gives the beer a certain touch. The bulk of the hops are the Cascade and Ekuanot aroma hops. While lower volumes were used by Cashmere, Citra and Simcoe. In the glass, the Cartagena presents itself in a golden yellow color and a fine-pored white foam crown. It smells of citrus fruits, melon, passion fruit and guava. The first sip brings exactly these aromas on the palate. It uses a balanced hop bitterness, which embeds itself super in the beer and in the end supports the fruity notes great.
