Beer description
As La Calavera’s Marc visited Prague, we were looking for a cool twist for a collaboration imperial stout, when our friend Leo suggested creating a liquid version of maple syrup-dripped bacon he enjoyed for breakfast and we just couldn’t say no. We thus added some beech-smoked malt into the already complex grain bill, brewed a massive stout and refermented it with dark maple syrup. The finished beer then spent many days in the tank and a few extra days on a pile of cocoa nibs. With all of the elements in harmony, you can now relive this long international journey in every sip of this decadent liquid breakfast. To make it whole, Leo designed the label himself!
