Beer description
This beer is a blend of Blonde du Prospecteur aged in oak casks. More specifically, 50% of the blend is matured for 9 months in Cabernet Sauvignon casks, 25% is matured for 8 months in a Marsala wine cask (Italy) and 25% is matured for 9 months in a Pinot Noir cask. The aromas and smoothness of Blonde du Prospecteur blend perfectly with the complex flavours released by the barrels of red wine. In addition to Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus, the addition of Abitibi grapes (3%) during barrel ageing gives this beer a light acidity and funky aromas from indigenous micro-organisms (SRM 3).
