Citraweisse is a kettle-soured Berliner-style weiss. This sessionable summer seasonal's pale straw haziness is due to the protein-rich wheat malt. Fermentation with a mixture of German Ale Yeast and lactobacillus (Lactic Acid Bacteria) creates Citraweisse’s distinguishing sharp tartness.
